The tropical rain zone or ITCZ is slowly moving northward now as shown in the image. A new group of large sunspots is just beginning to emerge on the sun. The full moon starts tonight 5-6 May and is closest to Earth for the year, making it look 14% bigger. All this should combine to set off some active weather here sometime between May 8 and May 13. Will have a clearer picture of this in a few days.
