A late season Cold Front wandered across Belize today with the main northerly force of the front arriving at 1754 hour with a strong gust of wind that blew leaves off the trees and kicked up some dust. The Upper Air is quite dry and stable so there is not much chance of any significant rainfall. There is a strong SW wind shear just west of the Belize/Guatemala border which is tearing the tops off of any developing rain cells. The effect of the front should only last until the end of the week and bring some relief to the heat.
