The full moon was on April 6 so the best time for rain would have been April 9 and 10. There were a few isolated thundershowers around the country but no significant rainfall. Here in Belmopan there was a trace of rain yesterday. As shown in the image the solar disk has no sunspots. This is unusual since the the sun is approaching the solar sunspot maximum. The lack of sunspot activity could create a more severe dry season than usual for Belize.
