Thundershowers have been forming along the Belize / Guatemala boarder then expanding outward in all directions. Right now, the eastern edge of a storm cell just passes through Belmopan. The showers bring a welcome relief to the high heat and humidity. The mid Caribbean is relatively dry with no storms present. Any rainfall around Belize over the next few days should be isolated. The above cell began to retreat around 4PM local time.
